Morgan Est, part of construction and regeneration group Morgan Sindall plc, has acquired a major part of Elec-Track Installations Ltd (ETI), which went into administration in January.
Morgan Est agreed a £1 million deal to buy some of the assets of ETI’s Isolations and Possessions (I&P) Division, but has not acquired any of the company’s debts or liabilities. The deal preserves employment for over 130 employees of the I&P business. Alongside Network Rail, ETI has worked for London Underground and on many tramway and metro projects on isolation provision and management for AC and DC electrical systems.
