Airquick’s focus, to provide customers with unsurpassed quality, state-of-theart, bespoke engineered solutions, with unrivalled levels of expertise and service, continues to drive them forward each and every day. They strive to establish Airquick as the go-to name for depot maintenance plant and compressed-air systems.
And these are exciting times at Airquick; this year will see them embark upon their
largest single rail project to date, and whilst undoubtedly a challenge, their involvement in the prestigious Reading Station Area Redevelopment is an ideal opportunity to showcase their engineering and management prowess. Having previously completed the design through Form A and Form B, they tendered for and were successful in being nominated by Network Rail to Volker Fitzpatrick to supply, install and commission the carriage wash facility, 22-point CET, 24-point fuelling, oil, coolant and compressed air systems at the new Train Care Depot.
In all work they undertake, Airquick profoundly understand the importance to customers and end users alike that whatever system or plant it is, it ‘just works’. So, as well as ensuring the greatest robustness and reliability is built-in to every new system, Airquick can ensure that existing plant goes on performing year after year through a programme of refurbishment, modification and/or a comprehensive maintenance and service regime. Whether it’s a 24/7 reactive service, a fully planned preventative package or a combination of the two, Airquick can tailor a scheme to the exact requirements of each individual customer. Having accrued a vast wealth of experience, during the last 20 years of providing a reactive service to a broad range of plant on Network Rail’s LNE and EM regions, and six years providing a preventative service to seven wash plants on LU’s infrastructure, Airquick have probably been there, seen it and fixed it!
Keeping it in the family…Airquick only employ a select number of external contractors to supply some fabrication, buildings and minor utilities, preferring where possible to retain their own specialist, PTS trained, mechanical and electrical engineers and designers. Only those who share Airquick’s uncompromising integrity and quest for quality are allowed into the fold! With over 200 years of experience between them, Airquick’s core team, ably assisted by dedicated and enthusiastic support staff, possess the perspicacity and expertise to design and build complete solutions, all in-house.
Quality assured…
Airquick have been Link-Up registered suppliers since 2004, and are qualified by Core and Product Code Audits. Not content with this statement of quality, Airquick undertook to push themselves further, and their Integrated Management Systems are now accredited under both ISO 9001-2008 and ISO 14001-2004 standards. In addition to this, Airquick has been registered on the NICEIC Approved Contractor scheme as an Accredited Electrical Installer since 2005, and has been a member of the British Compressed Air Society since the early 1990s.
