Serco
Carlisle Cleaning and Support Services was enormously proud to announce the fact that in April 2008 Serco Docklands awarded them the contract to clean the Docklands Light Railway fleet, stations (except West Silvertown to Woolwich Arsenal and Mudchute to Lewisham) and facilities.
Serco Docklands is at the very heart of London’s travel infrastructure, serving the South East of London and providing a critical route into the financial centre at Canary Wharf. Currently undergoing an ambitious expansion programme, in the Olympic year of 2012, Serco Docklands will play a central role in the integrated travel strategy for the Olympic Games.
A strong working relationship with Serco Docklands has developed which has facilitated the introduction of new processes being introduced across the network resulting in a distinct step change in train presentation and the overall cleanliness of the network.
As this relationship develops it will enable Carlisle and Serco Docklands to meet all current and future challenges, continually providing the travelling public of London with the highest levels of service they demand.
Eurostar
2009 started off with a real bang for Carlisle with the successful mobilisation of the Eurostar operation in early January. Carlisle Cleaning & Support Services was delighted to be awarded the contract in the autumn of 2008 for the cleaning of Eurostar’s premises at St. Pancras, Head Offices and Ashford International, in conjunction with the turnaround cleaning and in-journey cleaning based out of St Pancras International.
The vision and foresight of Eurostar UKL has enabled Carlisle to utilise the latest technology and processes which will enable a structured and transparent approach to increasing productivity, driving up standards and eliminating process waste.
Carlisle Cleaning & Support Services is very excited at the prospect of demonstrating and applying its combined experience and expertise of operating within the Transportation, Retail and Public Service sectors in order to support Eurostar in their operation and exceeding their targets.
